My whole family and I absolutely love this Dojo! The instructors are the best in the world and they are great with my kids! Helping them every step of the way! AND the adult classes are top notch! They emphasize not only physical health but also mental health! A great academy for the whole family!
This Dojo is amazing, if you want to go somewhere where you feel like it’s your second family then this is the place. My daughter and I love the instructors here they are very helpful with learning everything and are very precise. I hope to be able to see my daughter grow into a sensei one day with this dojo. They teach great discipline, respect and responsibilities. The adult class is also extremely fun and teaches you alot mentally and physically. You can always come and try it out yourself the first class is free for kids and adults. It’s definitely something worth trying out!
We received a free trial, and love it so much that we joined the same day! It has been a great experience for my little one, and rewarding for me as well. Well worth it. The instructors are all amazing, and attentive. We’re proud to be a part of this dojo!
Rising Sun Karate has made a profound difference in our lives, my grand son is exhibiting more discipline, he’s getting exercise and rounding out well.
My 8 year old daughter has been attending Rising Sun for 2 months now and is loving it!! If you’re looking for a patient, firm , and fun instructor, Kyoshi Jordan Kirton, possesses those skills! Al of the instructor are amazing and patient. Not only is martial arts being taught, discipline is taught as well. Beginning the class with no experience nor background knowledge in martial arts, I can honestly say that she has learned so much in so little time!
My son had previous Martial Arts Experience but due to my work schedule I had to find a new place for him to continue learning and practicing Karate closer to our residence . Rising Sun Karate has been a perfect choice , the instructors are knowledgeable, & genuinely engaging , not just with the students but with the parents as well. My son loves going to class sessions and really likes his Instructors. Overall there is a tangible interest and focus on character development which as a parent I like. I highly recommend.
My kids love Rising Sun Karate! They have both grown in confidence and focus. The instructors really know how to get the best from them during class. I love how they incorporate good values or life skills in every weekly lessons.
RSKA staff are really supportive and are interested in your child’s well-being, the life choices that they make and are very patient. It’s pretty well blended with different multicultural backgrounds and they treat every child the same. They are all about discipline and having respect. I enjoy this place for my 3 boys, they anticipate going to class and learning something new ever since they have been going for the past 2 months . My boys have also learned to work on and build their individual characters because of this place. I was surprised because they don’t just teach you how to defend yourself and fight but also how to raise responsible adults.Thanks for helping my family raise men for the future.
After trying out a few places, my daughter ultimately chose Rising Sun Karate. She likes that they touch on a little of each fighting styles, even how to handle various weapons (Nunchucks, Bo Staff, Sais, etc.,). I see how my daughter is already gaining confidence. I appreciate the friendly instructors, and how they are teaching the kids, respect and other valuable life lessons. Really glad we found this place.
My 4.5 year old son has been attending Rising Sun for 4 weeks and we absolutely love it. We were having some attention/ behavioral issues and while they haven’t disappeared quite yet, we can definitely tell a huge difference. All the instructors are so patient and great with all the kids. I definitely recommend Rising Sun!
Rising Sun Karate has literally changed my life, my children have gained a skillset and discipline that I could not put a price on. My wife, children and I have been going since last July and the improvement from school, respect and just our relationships together has been life changing. The staff are some of the best in the business and are all really great people. I couldn’t imagine life without rising sun now and am greatful to be part of the team.
